Morii at The Vineyard Hotel offers an Italian-inspired dining experience shaped by Cape Town’s seasons, produce and sense of place. The name Morii speaks to the desire to hold onto fleeting, beautiful moments, which is exactly what the restaurant celebrates through handmade pastas, slow-proved breads, house made charcuterie and cold-fermented wood-fired pizzas. Fresh, ingredient-led dishes offer familiar comfort with a lighter, expressive touch, from a reimagined Caprese to a deeply comforting tiramisu.

The drinks program is crafted with the same attention to balance and enjoyment. The wine list brings together Italian expressions and Cape favourites chosen for character and terroir. The cocktail menu centers on the Negroni, offered in thoughtful regional interpretations, alongside lighter spritzes and classic digestives including grappa and limoncello.

    Fantastic evening to celebrate a 80th birthday. We sat outside and everything was very special. Staff were very attentive and made sure we understood the full section of wines and assisted to choose our main dishes. Will be back!
