Morii at The Vineyard Hotel offers an Italian-inspired dining experience shaped by Cape Town’s seasons, produce and sense of place. The name Morii speaks to the desire to hold onto fleeting, beautiful moments, which is exactly what the restaurant celebrates through handmade pastas, slow-proved breads, house made charcuterie and cold-fermented wood-fired pizzas. Fresh, ingredient-led dishes offer familiar comfort with a lighter, expressive touch, from a reimagined Caprese to a deeply comforting tiramisu.

The drinks program is crafted with the same attention to balance and enjoyment. The wine list brings together Italian expressions and Cape favourites chosen for character and terroir. The cocktail menu centers on the Negroni, offered in thoughtful regional interpretations, alongside lighter spritzes and classic digestives including grappa and limoncello.

    Service was amazing and our waitress, Michelle, was absolutely phenomenal. She was kind and patient. We were celebrating our one year anniversary and she truly mad it magical. The only thing that could have made it better was if the restaurant was warmer but that is all. An absolutely wonderful evening

    Michelle our waitress was absolute brilliant. Great menu knowledge demonstration. The only thing is the lighting was a bit too bright but then again there a lot of outside lighting coming through. Overall great experience and reason to come back.

    The pasta was, flavourful, you can tell it was prepared with intention and the portions were substantial, perfect for friends, family & couple I'd recommend this experience !
