The name Morii speaks to the desire to hold onto fleeting, beautiful moments, which is exactly what the restaurant celebrates through handmade pastas, slow-proved breads, house made charcuterie and cold-fermented wood-fired pizzas. Fresh, ingredient-led dishes offer familiar comfort with a lighter, expressive touch, from a reimagined Caprese to a deeply comforting tiramisu.

The drinks program is crafted with the same attention to balance and enjoyment. The wine list brings together Italian expressions and Cape favourites chosen for character and terroir. The cocktail menu centers on the Negroni, offered in thoughtful regional interpretations, alongside lighter spritzes and classic digestives including grappa and limoncello.

    Food was fantastic! Some of the most flavorful sauces we’ve ever had! Service was a bit slow and the waitress didn’t know much about the pasta special but a very sweet. I would return for the pasta special again!
