    We hosted my mother’s birthday celebration. They communicated well in terms of my reservations.No issues with bringing my own cake and flowers . The staff was extremely helpful. Beautiful ambiance. People enjoyed their meals. It was truly a pleasant evening. It was a 10/10

    Yesterday was our wedding anniversary — a very special day for us. Out of the many restaurants to choose from, I chose yours because I truly enjoy your sushi and was really in the mood for it. I specifically made a reservation to avoid any issues on arrival and also mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. Naturally, I expected that a table would be properly reserved, considering the effort I made to book in advance and inform the restaurant about the occasion. Luckily the manager was able to accommodate us with a preferred table. The service from the manager was very good and appreciated. However, the food, in particular the ribs did not meet expectation, they were a bit dry with the sweet potato fry and needed to be “washed down” with a drink, even though we had ordered a side sauce with them. It would have been lovely if it was served with a bit of sauce or mayo on the side or a bit more basting. When it came to the sides for the ribs, the waiter did not initially ask what we would prefer. We only realized there were options when we saw plates going past with different sides. At that point, we mentioned it, and he then explained the available options to us. Although he did say that chips come standard with the meal, we were able to choose an alternative after asking. To top it off, we were not asked whether we would like dessert, just if we were done and needed a takeaway. I had hoped to make the evening feel special — perhaps with a small celebratory touch like a slice of cake with a “Happy Anniversary” message written on the plate — but by that point, I felt disappointed and decided to simply pay the bill and leave. Overall, while the manager’s service was good, the waiter was pleasant but just needs a bit more training on the finer details, the experience did not live up to the expectations we had for such a meaningful occasion.
