The Silo Rooftop is the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail. For outside guests a deposit of R150 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

The Silo Rooftop offers guests a relaxed, al fresco experience with spectacular panoramic views of Cape Town from the tallest building in the V&A Waterfront. Enjoy a glass of bubbly, South African wine or a classic cocktail while you soak up the last of the day’s sunshine.

Kindly note that access to The Silo Rooftop is weather dependent and the pool is strictly for resident hotel guests only.

    We had an AMAZING time at the Silo Rooftop! We were coming to celebrate our engagement and they congratulated us with glasses of sparking prosecco!! We were just having such a wonderful evening the two of us and the joy from the team at the rooftop only made it better. Also the views of the mountains at sunset were absolutely amazing - 10 stars - loved it!

    We had an amazing dinner date there. The views were incredible and the staff was warm and welcoming. I’d recommend their malva pudding dessert it’s absolutely delicious. Food portions were good too

    Fabulous spot with amazing views over the waterfront and Table Bay. Food is good and the cocktails are great. The booking process seems to keep it relatively quiet so the atmosphere is fabulous. Highly recommended as a “treat” experience

    As expected, the setting was stunning, with panoramic views from every angle and beautiful art adorning every wall. For lunch, we enjoyed a delicious seared tuna poke bowl, lavash puff bread and a glass of rosé wine. However, the service fell far below the standard we anticipated. We had booked a Spa Lunch Package, yet there were no rooftop staff available on our arrival. We had to ask multiple times about the lunch options included in the package, and the team appeared disjointed and unsure, despite the trainee doing her best to assist us. We waited far too long for someone to take both our drinks order and our food order. As first-time guests at the rooftop restaurant, we felt largely invisible to the staff. We hoped this was an isolated experience, but unfortunately the service deteriorated further when we returned for our 5pm booking with our husbands. Twice we asked if we could order drinks, and each time the same trainee said she would send someone over. After waiting nearly an hour, we asked again; she apologised, took the order herself, but it was later forgotten. Thirty minutes after that, we were asked again what we had originally ordered. In summary, while the restaurant offers delicious food in an exceptional location, the overall experience was significantly let down by the poor and inattentive service.

    We saw nothing on the menu what we would like to have, so we decided to go. Ofcourse, I paid a deposit of 300 R but we had to pay that while we didn’t had anything
