The Silo Rooftop is the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail. For outside guests a deposit of R150 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

The Silo Rooftop offers guests a relaxed, al fresco experience with spectacular panoramic views of Cape Town from the tallest building in the V&A Waterfront. Enjoy a glass of bubbly, South African wine or a classic cocktail while you soak up the last of the day’s sunshine.

Kindly note that access to The Silo Rooftop is weather dependent and the pool is strictly for resident hotel guests only.

    Assume that in a Cape Town Tourist market, you price at what the market will bear, but a lower priced wine for the South Africans could be beneficial.

    Second visit to the Silo, the first was a rather disappointing experience in the restaurant so I was curious about the visit to the rooftop bar. Unfortunately, disappointed once again. The staff were polite, friendly and a credit to the hotel. That said, delivering and pouring Italian still water rather than perfectly drinkable tap water which the did to SA/Capetonian guests was a very cheeky upsell! The hummus and biltong were both tasteless.later we ordered a smash burger and smoked brisket baguette. The burger and fries were tasty, the brisket too heavily smoked (artificially?), and the side crisps with it were too oily. Better places to eat however, come for drinks as it’s terrific vantage point to look out over the city, table mountain , V&A and water.

    We originally booked online but quickly realised we needed to alter the day so went into the hotel to do so and after much consultation we were told this had been done. We arrived at the newly arranged date and time only to be told we weren't expected but were grudgingly told we could go up. Despite the bar being virtually empty we weren't allowed to choose where to sit and were only then informed the the kitchen was closed so we would only be able to have access to a very small selection of snacks which when they arrived seemed very overpriced. A very disappointing experience that we wont be repeating
