The Silo Rooftop is the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail. For outside guests a deposit of R150 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

The Silo Rooftop offers guests a relaxed, al fresco experience with spectacular panoramic views of Cape Town from the tallest building in the V&A Waterfront. Enjoy a glass of bubbly, South African wine or a classic cocktail while you soak up the last of the day’s sunshine.

Kindly note that access to The Silo Rooftop is weather dependent and the pool is strictly for resident hotel guests only.

    Visited Silo Rooftop Bar once again and it was an exceptional experience all round 👌 The setting is hard to beat — panoramic views of Cape Town, Table Mountain, and the harbour create a truly world-class atmosphere 🌇⛰️. It’s the kind of place that immediately makes you pause and take it all in. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the team clearly takes pride in what they do 👏. Drinks were well-crafted and beautifully presented 🍸 — you can tell there’s real attention to detail. What stood out most was the overall experience: refined yet relaxed, with a great balance between sophistication and comfort. It’s ideal for both a special occasion or simply unwinding after a long week. Definitely a spot we will return to and confidently recommend 👍✨
