The Silo Rooftop is the ideal spot for a sunset cocktail. For outside guests a deposit of R150 per person is required to secure the booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final bill.

The Silo Rooftop offers guests a relaxed, al fresco experience with spectacular panoramic views of Cape Town from the tallest building in the V&A Waterfront. Enjoy a glass of bubbly, South African wine or a classic cocktail while you soak up the last of the day’s sunshine.

Kindly note that access to The Silo Rooftop is weather dependent and the pool is strictly for resident hotel guests only.

    We had an amazing dinning experience. We were served by Emmanuel and went above and beyond and made sure we were taken care of. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The views were definitely the best part.

    Philip was an excellent host and Lisa was an exceptional waiter. Michael showed us round the hotel and enriched us with his knowledge of the incredible artworks showcased in the hotel. It’s an amazing experience every time we visit The Silo!

    🍸 Drinks at The Silo Hotel – A Mixed Experience 🌇 We started our evening with drinks at the iconic rooftop bar of The Silo Hotel — and what a setting! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere was vibrant, making it a wonderful start to our celebration. Due to the chilly weather, we requested to move indoors to the Willaston Bar, which is a beautifully designed and elegant space. We continued our drinks there, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the rooftop. My husband’s Irish coffee was disappointingly sour — it seemed the cream had gone off — and to make matters worse, our waitress accidentally spilled liquid on me while clearing our table. While accidents do happen, it did put a bit of a damper on the evening. Overall, the venue itself is stunning and the rooftop is a must-visit, but the service and attention to detail at the Willaston Bar left room for improvement.
