    We sat outside on the patio which was very pleasant. The food quality and presentation was excellent, but the buildings need TLC. The only guest loo was always occupied as there are only 2 and 1 was out of order

    Beautiful cosy spot. The fireplace also keeps the space very warm. The food was affordable and yum. The cocktails were delicious!

    Our experience was bad, we came late but we informed the lady that we were running late. When we got there we were told that we won’t get breakfast we should wait for lunch. It took for them to prepare our meals, the meals were very cold. Thanks to Lucas who tried to make my birthday exceptional.

    We had lunch at The Salt Road and were excited to finally try it out after great reviews online. However upon arrival, we found the service to be lackluster. We were seated, but no one came to attend to our table, resulting in us having to flag someone down. At a point, bread was brought to our table alongside 3 different salt types to try. After about 10 minutes, we realized that there was no cutlery provided in order for us to use to spread the butter. We then looked forward to the food. We ordered 6 dishes from the sharing plates. We wanted to have a wide selection as it was our first time there. So we ordered a meat dish in the form of the picahna, which we asked to be medium but that arrived well-done. The bream lacked flavour despite being drowned in a sauce that in and of itself was not a good flavour. The pork belly bites were not crispy. And the smoked Mac and cheese was not great flavour-wise. The oxtail bitterballen was mostly gravy with hardly any meat. And the salted roasted potato was the only dish that was edible. We were highly disappointed by this experience. The only upside is how beautiful the grounds were on a pleasant Sunday afternoon. Would not recommend.
