Growing up in ​the sixties, different was good. Weird was good. Swimming against the stream was a dream.

We were always looking for an unconventional, different place to visit with simple, good food and coffee, followed by a beer, a glass of wine or a cocktail. Always unhurried, a pleasant, mellow environment with light music to sit, relax and let time slip by. Never being able to find what we were looking for, we decided to try and create our own.

The Shed & Silo is our labour of love. A work in progress that is full of surprises and never completely finished. We are continually trying to create what we were looking for.

    The owner/manager/staff of Silo and Shed are truly considerate. Booked a garden table for Mother’s Day a week or so in advance. When the day came around the wind was quite unpleasant, and unfortunately it was not possible to change the booking from outside seating to inside seating. NO WORRIES THOUGH! Silo and Shed had already accompanied all bookings made in the garden for warm inside seating. The consideration was truly appreciated. The food was amazing. The staff are friendly and ensured that we were well taken care of. It was a lovely day. My mom truly enjoyed her first visit at Silo and Shed and is already planning her next visits. Thank you to everyone at Silo and Shed for a truly wonderful experience!
