Growing up in ​the sixties, different was good. Weird was good. Swimming against the stream was a dream.

We were always looking for an unconventional, different place to visit with simple, good food and coffee, followed by a beer, a glass of wine or a cocktail. Always unhurried, a pleasant, mellow environment with light music to sit, relax and let time slip by. Never being able to find what we were looking for, we decided to try and create our own.

The Shed & Silo is our labour of love. A work in progress that is full of surprises and never completely finished. We are continually trying to create what we were looking for.

    Booked for a birthday celebration with friends. Food very disappointing sent back one meal. Very disappointing after so many enjoyable times there on previous visits. Won’t hurry back

    We had the most enjoyable outing, your fish dish was so tasty and so was the dessert, and our waitress was exceptionally kind and so patient. Thank you for making our Good Friday luncheon a truly special outing. We will be back soon!
