Growing up in ​the sixties, different was good. Weird was good. Swimming against the stream was a dream.

We were always looking for an unconventional, different place to visit with simple, good food and coffee, followed by a beer, a glass of wine or a cocktail. Always unhurried, a pleasant, mellow environment with light music to sit, relax and let time slip by. Never being able to find what we were looking for, we decided to try and create our own.

The Shed & Silo is our labour of love. A work in progress that is full of surprises and never completely finished. We are continually trying to create what we were looking for.

    We had a lovely meal. our young waiter very polite and efficient. A most enjoyable lunch and the quintet afterwards absolutely wonderful! all and all a great Sunday outing!
