Growing up in ​the sixties, different was good. Weird was good. Swimming against the stream was a dream.

We were always looking for an unconventional, different place to visit with simple, good food and coffee, followed by a beer, a glass of wine or a cocktail. Always unhurried, a pleasant, mellow environment with light music to sit, relax and let time slip by. Never being able to find what we were looking for, we decided to try and create our own.

The Shed & Silo is our labour of love. A work in progress that is full of surprises and never completely finished. We are continually trying to create what we were looking for.

    Unfortunately my booking didn't show up, so we weren't able to be seated in the area that I had booked but there was space in a different area.

    Lovely venue with a fantastic atmosphere. Menu looked really great, presentation of food lovely. The pesto with the egg Florentine did not compliment the dish, however serving the egg in half and avocado was brilliant. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich which he enjoyed. The waiter service was mediocre. For such a beautiful setting, attention to detail could be better from waiters.
