Growing up in ​the sixties, different was good. Weird was good. Swimming against the stream was a dream.

We were always looking for an unconventional, different place to visit with simple, good food and coffee, followed by a beer, a glass of wine or a cocktail. Always unhurried, a pleasant, mellow environment with light music to sit, relax and let time slip by. Never being able to find what we were looking for, we decided to try and create our own.

The Shed & Silo is our labour of love. A work in progress that is full of surprises and never completely finished. We are continually trying to create what we were looking for.

    Always a treat to eat at Shed & Silo. The food is good, prices reasonable, staff friendly and professional and it's such a lovely venue.. The salted caramel fudge was a bit old? and too dry though.

    Had a wonderful lunch with my family for my 60th. Different flavoured bread rolls were exceptional. Our newly adopted doggie also had a good day! Our waiter Joshua was excellent and we enjoyed his humor. Thank you!

    I ordered a Caesar salad but was told that they had run out of lettuce. I was amazed as there is a garden outside with different vegetables and there are shops called Woolworth and checkers.Surely someone could have managed to obtain a lettuce. After all you are a restaurant.Very disappointing.
