The Tasting Room is a concept born of a sunny afternoon's wine tasting in the Cape Winelands. It aims to bring the flavours and atmosphere of a tasting experience in the Cape’s finest vineyards to Gauteng.

The Tasting Room offers restaurant-goers in Gauteng the chance to experience a range of tasting flights without the cost of a trip to the Cape. Enjoy a range of tastings - from the more traditional wine, cheese and olives to the unusual, such as coffee and macarons.

The Tasting Room is a concept designed to provide the customer with a novel experience they can't get in their own province.

Our team has a personal love of both wine and the Cape itself.

    Mimosas were just orange juice, we couldn’t taste the sparkling wine/champagne at all. Waiters were friendly but disorganised and didn’t communicate with each other (we had multiple waiters attending to us, not communicating to each other what we had ordered/requested which caused confusion to everyone). Food was good.

    The food was nice, though the chips were so oily. The service was poor, waited for too long for the waiter to check on us or bring drinks n food. The Gin tasting would have been amazing if it wasn't rushed. Waiter only told the history of Gin and left us to do the tasting alone. Waiter forgot about us actually. The lack of service made the whole experience to be a let down.
