Situated in an elevated valley of outstanding beauty, Oldenburg Vineyards is surrounded by a spectacular mountain amphitheatre. At the heart of the farm lies Rondekop – our iconic, round hill which influences the vineyards planted on and around it, creating our extraordinary terroir.

Please note: The maximum table size available for online bookings at The Tasting Room is 7 guests. Should you wish to book for a larger group, please contact the tasting room directly so we can assist you accordingly. Multiple smaller reservations made to accommodate a larger group are not permitted. The Tasting Room reserves the right of admission in such cases.     We had an exceptional time at Oldenburg - it was probably the best wine tasting I've ever done. The wine was incredible, the views were stunning and our sommelier Freda was outstanding - she was extremely knowledgable and just a great host. I couldn't recommend a visit to this vineyard enough!

    What a fab lunchtime wine tasting. Beautiful surroundings lovely building with fab views of the mountain . Our host was brilliant really helpful nit mechanical and gave us other recommendations in the area. Knew loads about wine but also was humble in the way she explained it. Totally forgotten her name to recommend, sorry but worth a trip. Did the premium tasting and all delicious.

    The Staff, their welcome, presentation, knowledge, and passion for their wine never dissapoints! Always a winner and my guests always leave happy and impressed, with a few bottles to be delivered back home. 10/10

    We were looked after very well by the knowledgable and charming Petranella who remembered us from our visit last year. The whole ambience of the winery and the beauty of the views from the tasting room are really special. Of course the wines do not disappoint either with their flagship Per Se being my favourite. If you haven’t been to Oldenburg before put it on your bucket.list of vineyards you must visit.

    Even though we couldn’t be seated at our reserved table we had a wonderful time sitting on the grass area with a beautiful view, the service was outstanding. We were really looked after and spoilt. Have already recommended it to other people.
