    An afternoon of Bosman wine tastings. Love that the wines and tastings are done by knowledgeable staff. Service is excellent, a little work is required on food. The owners choice platter serving steak, chicken wings, calamari and prawns was average with the wings being the followed by steaks unfortunately the tempura prawns were underwhelming and the calamari was swimming in a sauce that lacked depth and flavor. Feedback was however well received by the team and I'm certain my next visit will be soon.

    This was the worst service I ever got and the food was so badly cooked, I had the kingklip and it was burned couldn’t taste anything and the steak was like cupboard and this is after waiting for 2 hours for the food.

    I booked The Tasting Room – Cedar in advance for a prepaid birthday celebration, after being assured that my group size and planned experience could be accommodated. Unfortunately, the execution on the night did not align with what had been discussed. The space was not fully prepared on arrival, service was inconsistent, and pre-ordered items did not arrive as expected. Guests were left unattended at times, which detracted from what should have been a smooth, hosted experience. Basic details were also missed. The glassware and utensils provided were not clean, which was disappointing given the venue’s focus on wine and dining. There also appeared to be a lack of clear ownership on the night. While staff were polite, issues took time to resolve, and I found myself having to follow up on several aspects of the evening. This added unnecessary stress to what was meant to be a special occasion. This was not a casual booking, but a planned and prepaid celebration. While the venue has potential, the gap between expectation and delivery on this occasion was noticeable. I would recommend confirming all details very carefully if booking for a group or special event.

    It was our 1st time and our experience in food serving was very disappointing, apparently you guys had a backlog which i failed to understand when we booked prior, people who didnt book and just ordered from the menu were in and out, overall the place is nice and would like to come back again but not with that type of delay in serving food

    This experience was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had. I had a booking for my birthday here for 8 people and the service we received was absolutely disgusting. We arrived at 12 but only got our drinks at 1, as they “couldn’t find glasses”. How does a wine tasting place not have enough glasses for people? Worse people that pre-booked and paid a deposit so you anticipated how many people were going to be there?? Don’t even get me started on the food, it only arrived at 2:30/3, most of it was cold and certain things we had ordered were missing and ended up not arriving. The service was beyond slow, the waiters and manager were not reactive enough to complaints, the waiters were not paying attention to the orders, they even messed up something as easy as a coke. A friend ordered a regular coke and they bought a Coke zero out?!?! The worst part is even the manager was not helping, how can we complain to her and she says she will personally then take care of us but actually end up making us wait even longer, we waited an hour for mere glasses and then about another 15 minutes for the actual drinks. To top it all off, when the bill came I was charged for things that we did not receive. There was food that was on the bill that didn’t come as well as an extra bottles of alcohol that they didn’t give to us. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! Such a shame because the place is so aesthetically pleasing. If they improved their service and added more waiters, this place would be a decent spot. However unfortunately I would definitely not recommend to anyone.

    The ratio of bookings to staff was unbalanced. The service was horrible and everything just took time. It was hard to enjoy my date.
