    Wonderful evening at The Taste Room in Broadacres. Food was delicious and very well priced. But without a doubt, the best part of the evening was the service by our waiter, Junior. Attentive without being over bearing, he provided great recommendations with fantastic energy and enthusiasm. I will return just for that!

    We had an extremely disappointing experience at The Tasting Room. The service was so poor that we eventually left the restaurant without eating. After placing our food order, we waited for almost 1 hour and 30 minutes without receiving our meals. Throughout this time, our waiter repeatedly assured us that the food was "almost ready," yet nothing arrived and no one provided us with an honest update. When we escalated the matter to a staff member who appeared to be the manager, we expected the situation to be resolved promptly. Instead, we were informed that there had been a mix-up and that our order slip had been lost. Despite acknowledging that the error was entirely on the restaurant's side, there was no sense of urgency to prioritise or expedite our order, nor was there any meaningful attempt to recover the situation or apologise appropriately. To make matters worse, we had paid a booking fee, which was never credited back to us, even though we left without receiving any food or service that justified the charge. Overall, the experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. We spent over an hour and a half waiting, only to leave hungry and out of pocket because of mistakes made by the restaurant. We expected far better service and accountability, and unfortunately, this experience fell well below an acceptable standard.

    The wine tasting was good and our waiter was well versed on the different wines available. The food was not too bad although the portions were quite small on the sharing meals. Overall the experience was good.
