The Tasting Room is a concept born of a sunny afternoon's wine tasting in the Cape Winelands. It aims to bring the flavours and atmosphere of a tasting experience in the Cape’s finest vineyards to Gauteng.

The Tasting Room offers restaurant-goers in Gauteng the chance to experience a range of tasting flights without the cost of a trip to the Cape. Enjoy a range of tastings - from the more traditional wine, cheese and olives to the unusual, such as coffee and macarons.

The Tasting Room is a concept designed to provide the customer with a novel experience they can't get in their own province.

Our team has a personal love of both wine and the Cape itself.

    Nice place to hang with friends and family. The waiter walked us through the wines and their origins in detail. Definitely worth the buck

    The atmosphere was really good and the staff was very friendly, however the menu is extremely limited.

Our menu offers over 40 dishes, along with a full selection of tasting boards designed to complement the experience, as well as an extensive drinks offering including wine, bubbly, gin, whisky, vodka, brandy, tequila, cocktails and coffee. We’re proudly a brand-focused venue, built around showcasing local producers where possible across both food and drinks, with a strong focus on South African wine farms. Each month we feature one wine farm at a time, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in that specific brand and story, which is at the heart of what makes The Tasting Room unique. We understand that this style of dining may not suit everyone, but it is what makes The Tasting Room unique. Our full menu is always available online for transparency.
