The latest and most exciting addition to our venue, – the terrace, for the love of a ‘good time and great taste’. Inspired by the Mediterranean food culture, we invite you to enjoy long lunching amidst a beautifully curated space in the Cradle. The terrace allows for social interaction, experiential tasting and all-round good vibes.

Our tapas & tasting room will bring you an ever changing seasonal menu of tasty unique small plates – to be shared and enjoyed with loved ones. We encourage sharing & tasting over a “long lunching” style day – paired with either an Inverroche Gin tasting, Fabulous Cocktails , Bubbles or Wines.

Dress Code: Smart Casual.

    There are a lot of supposedly high end restaurants in Joburg at the moment that are pure style over substance when it comes to their actual food (ya know, the thing yoh actually visit a restaurant for), but The Terrace isn't one of them. This was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Our waitress was superb, and we went with her recommendations. We started with the loaded olive oil dip which is an umami sensation and comes with pillowy soft potato bread. Moving on to mains, we had the short rib which fell off the bone, and the lamb roast which was just as soft and succulent. I will dream about that lamb, for real. We ordered the cauliflower and truffle fries as sides which were also delicious, but the main courses are quite generous in size so we took them as a takeaway as we couldn't finish them. Next time we'd likely just order one side to share. Stunning venue, can't wait to come back in the summer too so I can pretend I'm on an island in Greece drinking limoncello spritzers. Run, don't walk!

    The food was soo delicious and our waiter was really helpful and friendly. The restaurant looks cute and cozy.

    Loved our day out ...BUT.. why on dinaplan when we booked dud we have take an 11am booking..the restaurant was not fully booked . In fact it was empty and we could have arrived at 12 or 12.30pm. This is not acceptable that patrons are bullied into booking a time that is not even correct. I will rather phone the restaurant directly than go through dinaplan next time!

    Good service good food and very affordable, my birthday lunch was perfect. The most helpful, cheerful and friendly staff too.
