    The evening spent at The Verandah at Mount Nelson was one of the most memorable occasions of my life. The courtesy and professionalism of each member of staff, the ambience and the quality of food served were exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the springbok and kudu loin dishes which were melt-in-the-mouth tender. My UK visitors were so impressed with the dining experience, and my 75th birthday was made even more special with the unexpected arrival of a delicious slice of cake. Truly a five-star experience on every level.

    The food, drink, and atmosphere were all so phenomenal. Our waiter, William was kind, attentive and knew the menu very well. He also has a very impressive voice. The Planet bar was also a very worthwhile place to visit if you arrive early for your reservation.
