    We were quite frustrated and disappointed as I had called prior to booking, to confirm that there would be a DJ Thursday or Friday. Then was promptly told Friday there would be a DJ (not the usual as he was away on his honeymoon) for dancing. I made it clear we wanted to dance. Needless to say we arrived and it became clear there was no DJ! I’ve enjoyed my time at The View, but if I cannot trust their management it’s disappointing. I’m sharing this comment to ask in future that honest feedback is provided 🙏

    The place has a lot of potential but the ambience isn’t quite there yet. The view of the golf course is lovely but right across the road you look into someone’s back yard with a lovely washing line full of clothes. Whilst this isn’t their fault it does put a damper on things. Service was slow and the music was terrible. Speaker placement right above a table made it difficult to talk and fight over the sound of the music itself. Perhaps they should be more strategically placed. The food was decent not amazing and it was clean and neat which added to the ambience. Service a bit slow though considering the place wasn’t even full.

    Hi Kyle, please visit us again for Sunset Views. The ambience is very different late afternoon and at night. When the weather allows us we open the roof and that is a total different experience. Regarding the service, I do apologize. We open at 12pm when you arrived and it must of been a slow start. We pride ourselves in our service.

    Beautiful venue with a great view. Unfortunately when we visited there seemed to be a private event, which made it feel like we were crashing a party. The music was also very loud, so we couldn’t really enjoy the atmosphere or have a conversation. We had one drink and left.
