    Although my overseas vistors enjoyed their high tea there was no option for myself as I am gluten intolerant. I would like to suggest that this is made available especially from a hotel of the Vineyard's standard.

    I took my mother for afternoon tea for her 90th birthday. She is in a wheelchair, and I am no longer able to push her due to a back condition. From Bruce meeting us at the car, helping my mum out if the car, arranging for the car to be parked and then wheeling her to the restaurant, to the restaurant experience, it could not have been a more perfect afternoon. We were greeted at the restaurant by Jeff, who was our waiter. He was exceptional from start to finish, and my mum could not have been more spoilt, or delighted. The food was amazing, and a huge slice of cake was brought to my mum, with a candle and "happy 90th birthday " decorating the plate. The view was stunning. Jeff and Bruce then helped us back to the car. Everyone went above and beyond. I cannot thank everyone enough.

    This High Tea experience was a great disappointment with no ambience whatsoever. When the tea cups are chipped and the table wobbles its s shabby affair to say the least.

    The setting is absolutely beautiful and the staff are incredibly friendly. But I had the same high tea two years ago at 70% of the price. It was a 30% price increase in 2 years, which is hard to accept considering we received almost exactly the same items. That said, the savouries are delicious whereas the sweet was a bit if a mixed bag.

    I celebrated my birthday at The Vineyard Hotel and the afternoon tea experience was wonderful! The service was stellar, the food was delicious, and it was an overall beautiful experience.

    We had a lovely experience for my 70th birthday. Staff were warm and welcoming. High Tea was presented beautifully and each course explained in detail. Absolutely stunning surroundings, the perfect setting for High Tea. Will definitely go there again. Thank you to everyone who made my day special!!
