Located on Bree Street, The Wiggle Room is a new 12-seater chef’s counter dining experience where fine dining loosens its tie and settles into something far more exciting. Chef Ismail Amos, AKA Fish, cooks to the rhythm of his own music playlist – no set menu, no repetition, just music, good food and serious skill. The full experience is R2850 per person which includes your pairing. Expect a 7–8-course dinner that changes weekly, where each dish flows naturally into the next. Alongside him, Lester – virtuoso mixologist and sommelier – crafts bespoke cocktails and wine pairings for each course. This is fine dining, but with some wiggle room.

    Great and unusual experience. Music too loud to enable conversation. Hard to hear the description of the food but no doubting the passion which goes into every bite. There are massive opportunities to enable a more immersive curated experience- I look forward to returning to see how the concept evolves.

    An incredible experience but just too expensive and no clarity on cost until the end when it's too late. We enjoyed it but will never return on our own cost. The most we have ever spent in a restaurant with the least of wine we have had.

    This was quite a unique experience. The food is good, the cocktails all on the sweet side and didn't pair ver well with the food. It's very expensive for what you're getting.
