The Wild Fig Restaurant is a fully licensed Restaurant and Bar situated on a portion of the historic Valkenburg Estate. Our bar is situated in the original barn which is a National Monument. We have beautiful outdoor seating areas as well as private dining areas. We cater for all manner of events such as functions, conference, weddings, cocktail functions, breakfasts and celebrations.

    We enjoyed a lovely Christmas in July meal, the atmosphere was lovely, venue decked out beautifully for the event, staff was helpful and friendly despite it being a busy evening. Thank you for a fantastic evening and meal, we'll definitely be back again soon

    Unfortunately the chicken on our plate of the Christmas roast was raw - on all 4 plates. Unfortunately only noticed mid way through our meal after everyone complaining the chicken tasted ‘weird’. On closer inspection it was completely raw when turned over. Sadly that put a damper on the rest of the meal.
