The Wild Fig Restaurant is a fully licensed Restaurant and Bar situated on a portion of the historic Valkenburg Estate. Our bar is situated in the original barn which is a National Monument. We have beautiful outdoor seating areas as well as private dining areas. We cater for all manner of events such as functions, conference, weddings, cocktail functions, breakfasts and celebrations.

    Food great, but sometimes a little too salty. Otherwise a great experience. Lovely ambiance, nice and warm on a cold evening, no disturbing “music”. .

    My husband and I enjoyed our exceptionally tasty lunch yesterday - so much so, that I have booked lunch for this coming Wednesday for a friend and myself - also really enjoyed the warming fireplace - thanks to all for great food and excellent service 😀
