    Appetizers were fabulous! The Bobotie especially rocked it! Filet was severely overcooked and inedible for me.

    Nice restaurant. Decent food. Incompetent manager and server. Did a wine flight and then wanted to order a glass of our favorite. They brought out a different wine. We had the empty glass- smell was not the same. The manager came over to tell us she will need to review the video of our service to solve. What?!?! We asked if she drank wine. Her response is “I’m learning”. It took a lot of time for the manager to finally return with a glass of wine and ask us if it was it. She made a simple issue into a very big deal. We went from mildly inconvenienced to outright upset. I do not recommend going to a wine bar led by people who don’t drink wine. .

    We were recommended to visit the Wine Glass in Stellenbosch by friends and the experienced did not disappoint us. We had one of the taster wine flights with tasting notes and then chose our favourite to have a bottle to accompany several small plates for dinner all of which were delicious. We were very well looked after by José and she was very knowledgeable about the wines and helped us with food accompaniments for the wine. What a great idea and lovely ambiance to the whole experience. Thank you.
