Tigers Milk is the best destination for ‘dude food, made good. Since opening the flagship restaurant in the seaside village of Muizenberg in December 2014, 8 more eateries have opened up by popular demand, and to the delight of foodies in the Cape and Gauteng. The key trend being the iconic and spectacular location of all of the stores, that give locals an escape from the ordinary.

    i booked a week in advance for the rugby game between SA and NZ, when we arrived, i was told that the restaurant is prioritising those who made deposits for their bookings. I was not informed of that information prior to my booking as I would’ve done so, my friends and i had to find another restaurant last minute

    Very busy evening we knew would be a wait but let down by kitchen multiple times. Worse was giving us cold food. Quantity was dismal. This was the baskets. Rest was pretty good. You need a door on the disabled toilet! Our booking was mixed up, we had to sit outside. Which was actually better until it rained lol. The manager on duty was good at trying to fix our issues. Waiter great despite the crowds.

    Lolo was the best, she gave us exceptional service. We did not have to wait long for our food or drinks.

    The service at Tiger's Milk Century City has really declined over the years. Our waitress seamed disengaged, and got our drinks order wrong at the start. She didn't quite understand my steak order, which I had to repeat - I asked for medium, she repeated the order as "medium to well done". The steak was tough to the extent that I couldn't swallow a few bites - it was definitely not a matured steak quality meat. My Dom Pedro with a double whiskey took really long to arrive, and when it arrived it looked like milk in a glass, no cocao or cherry or decorations, the presentation was thus not inviting although it tasted good - for the price 1 would have expected something made with a bit of effort. Don't think I'll be back there for a meal again.

    Thank you for replying. Yes, please, many people I speak to about Tiger's Milk Century City, do not have good things to say. I also see the dissatisfied reviews are coming on for a while, with management indicating that they'll look to improve, yet this past weekend was not great at all. It's like your restaurant's become more of a drinking hole than a supposed "upmarket" restaurant/pub. All the best with sorting it out.
