    We had a wonderful evening. The view was spectacular, the service was friendly and excellent and we ordered far too much food, but managed to eat it all cos it was so delicious. We made the mistake of ordering one main meal per person. It would be much better to share a main meal and order side dishes as suggested. The salad was absolutely delicious and so different. I highly recommended it as a side dish. The choc mousse dessert and the pannekoek were delicious as well. Tastebud sensations. I loved the decor and elegance of the hotel. The old authentic decor was tastefully mixed with the more modern decor creating a great ambience and the elegant glasses we drank our wine from definitely made the wine more special. I highly recommend a night out at the Tintswalo Summer House. You won't be disappointed

    Beautiful charming refurbishment , down to the smallest details , a great place to watch the sunset over False Bay , the staff are friendly but professional . Great small and perfectly formed à la carte menu . Highlights Prawns , grilled aubergine , walnut and radicchio salad , good selection of wines and leave room for dessert , shared chocolate and the baklava desserts we shared two between four of us and scraped the plates clean . Use the ladies room the decor is just so gorgeous you could move in. A very welcome addition to the Glencairn - Simonstown area , there is nothing like this locally . Look forward to to returning regularly

    Tintswalo Summer Eatery delivered one of the best meals we’ve had in many years. The setting is lovely: a soft Mount Nelson pink exterior and a charming interior filled with Berlin pieces and beautiful works by Marie-Louise Koen and other local artists. It feels thoughtfully curated without being fussy. The food was outstanding across the board — perfectly cooked rib-eye steaks, excellent prawns, a well-balanced vongole spaghetti, radicchio with walnut and blue cheese, and fresh burrata salads. Even the finer details impressed, from the bespoke flatware with its shell logo to the harmonious colours on the table. The chocolate mousse, finished with olive oil and sea salt flakes, deserves special mention — easily one of the best we’ve ever had. A truly memorable experience where food, design, and atmosphere
