Toevlug will open on Annandale Wines on the 1st of October 2025. Toevlug will focus on simple South African produce-focused cooking. We are very happy to partner with Drikus Brink again, one of the most talented young chefs in South Africa.

Toevlug means sanctuary in Afrikaans, however, the word Toevlug is much deeper than just a sanctuary. Toevlug is a space where you feel warm and safe and cared for and that is what we are creating at Annandale.

    Food was amazing and service was incredible, we unfortunately visited on a week day and it was extremely quiet. However this experience was unmatched and well worth the visit.
