In 1994 Nelson Mandela Square, then known as Sandton Square, opened its doors to the public and Trumps Restaurant was unveiled. For over 21 years Trumps has fed locals, tourists and celebrities alike, and in 2015 began a complete rebuild from the ground up.

Two decades after opening as the original restaurant on the square, Denis, Allen and Michael Martin have evolved the Trumps Grillhouse restaurant into a new world class, fine dining destination – a Grillhouse, butchery and wine establishment second to none.

Its no coincidence that the Trumps Grillhouse logo is a bull in his prime - symbolising being the biggest and best at what we do…meat!

    The food and the location are excellent. Service is very friendly, we would have appreciated to get our starters BEFORE the mains. It's just crowded and very noisy and the additional music does not help. We found it difficult to have a conversation.

    The last time I went, there was a fly in my chips. This time it was worse, there was dirt in the ice in my glass. Food quality has dropped and time to get your food was way longer than previously. Also customer service has dropped. Sad this was one off my favourite restaurants.
