Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    The only issues with the food were that the Garlic Snails and capuchino we ordered, arrived cold. Midway during our dinner, the heater died (gasbottel was empty). We were seated in the smoking section. We had to ask for the heater to be turned back on again, as it was freezing cold. It was not turned on again until we asked for a second time. Other than these few hiccups, we had a lovely time and enjoyed everything else that was on offer.
