Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    Our waiter, Pretty, was very polite and helpful. We celebrated Father's Day and she made it a special day. The food was amazing!

    We were very unhappy about our seating. We made a reservation 2w before time for a specific seating place. I was assured the booking is accepted. When we arrived yesterday, on time, we were told the table was not available, but we can have this soft seating place. Firstly it was right in the wind even as you closed the door going to outside seating. So everytime the door of entrance and outside seating goes open it was freezing. 2ndly i am short and your soft seating chairs makes it difficult to eat as it is low from the table, that was why we booked the table in the corner. We have been going to your restaurant for years, taking friends and family, and yesterday the disappointment. Seems service is going down everywhere. Will think twice before going there again.
