    This evening it was not too noisy so we had a lovely evening out. The food was good. The peri peri chicken livers are exceptionally delicious.

    We were a large party of 9 guests. Our waiter was excellent. My personal meal, a 300g sirloin ordered medium was about 2cm on the one end and about 3cm on the one. As a result, half the steak was well done and the thicken half was medium. My wife’s mash potato was boring and just that, mashed potato. No butter or cream added to enrich it. I asked the waiter whether the gelato advertised on your menu was proper gelato or 5 litre ice cream. He was honest enough to confirm the latter. At 40 rand a scoop, your restaurant had better be darn sure you’re serving proper gelato and not caterer’s ice cream at an exorbitant mark up.

    I was highly disappointed. I ordered the hake fillet which was full of bones, the vegetables were tasteless snd the mash was dry and tasteless.
