Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    Good day, I would like to express my disappointment with our experience. I sent my chicken back as I had specifically requested no basting, however it arrived covered in sweet and sour sauce. My husband’s meat was also extremely tough and difficult to cut. In addition, the mash was cold, very firm, and heavy. Unfortunately, the overall experience was further affected by the air conditioning not working properly, as well as the lack of a warm and welcoming reception at the door. We were really looking forward to enjoying our meal, so this experience was quite disappointing. I trust that this feedback will be taken seriously and addressed accordingly.

    I had pre booked a specific area for our Graduation dinner, on arrival we were told that we can't sit there because a group of some gentleman (company) wanted to sit there. That didn't sit well with because what is the use of pre booking and keep updating the restaurant when you are running late only for them to decided and choose who is better than the other. Overall we were please by the service our waiter, gave us, the meal and ambiance. Zola
