Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    The food was nice to dine in we got desert for that was very dry not nice to eat(maybe it's because we too take away. My people left even without eating desert on our departure then they came with a different bill and people have left already topping R398 extra from the actual bill.that was not nice. Overall the main course was nice and very tasty. Thank you for making time for us even when you were supposed to be with your families.

    When busy, one toilet is inconvenient. The steaks where very blunt, NO taste

    We had steak and was not create at all, food was cold and the steak chew, we could not eat half our meat. Very very disappointed in the food and still had to pay for something we could not eat.

    Our waiter was very inexperienced and often distracted, looking at other tables when taking our order. He forgot to place one of the orders but would not take responsibility nor would attend to the matter with urgency. The manager (who was amazing) had to apologise and ensure that the food was prioritised which we are very grateful for. We understand it was very busy (the restaurant was full) and we always allow for mistakes during training but the waiter could have handled the situation better. The food was AMAZING though and we sincerely appreciate a wondeful Christmas day meal.
