Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    I hadn't visited Midstream T&T in a while, but I was surprised by its "bar-like ambience" and variable dress code. A quick burger and beer is fine here, but it's no longer a family or formal dining experience.

    I was disappointed by the ribs, they were tough and not easy to eat. Usually the are soft nd easy to bite off from the bone. My mom did not enjoy the lamb pooitjie, please improve the recipe. Unfortunately 6 out of 8 of us ordered ribs. The service was really good, I forgot the waiter’s name but he served us well, thank you.
