Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    My partner and I have been to Turn and Tender quite a few times and love it. I will say however that every time we go again, something new seems to go slightly wrong. They're small things but definitely inconvenient. On 2 separate occasions we've booked a table and when we arrive they don't know what we're talking about, especially as the last time was my partners birthday. But it's lovely to just walk into!

    It changed from last year. I don't eat there often as its a pricey event. Plates came out so hot it cooked my steak to overdone. Starting to feel like a spur and feels like its loosing its class...
