Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    The chips were under-cooked, pale and still hard, i sent back to re-do. The replacement was again pale and undercooked, sent back to the kitchen a second time,. The second replacement the same, however by this time my steak was getting cold so i did not return a 3rd time. In addition, the grill was not hot enough to do steak, our steaks (without basting) were pale grey without any char marking, and certainly no "crispy fat" as advertised on the menu. While our waiter's service was excellent, the food unfortunately was very disappointing.
