Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    Firstly, they couldn't find our booking. The black manager greeted us in a friendly manner, the white manager just very abruptly said "there is nothing on here". This put a damper on our evening as when I booked I specified that we were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel ok. Location - I didn't feel safe as this was the only establishment that was open in the centre and there were very few people left when we went home. Overall food was good, ambience was good - the white manager was not the friendliest, but I do understand that people go through things in life and hope that he's not always like this. I doubt that we will go back there though.

    I left my wallet in the restaurant, and a staff member kindly returned it to me. Overall I was very satisfied with the service and the food.
