Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    We were there for the 2nd time last night celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday. The food was really good and the atmosphere and staff lovely. Will be back!

    We had invited friends to dinner. They thoroughly enjoyed their meal...and will definitely revisit the restaurant. As always food was delicious.

    Our server was amazing too bad I didn’t get his name because that’s how good he was, we didn’t have any formalities. I am definitely gonna come back again. But the place can do with a little bit of updating the ambiance.

    The restaurant was very noisy and us older folk found it difficult to hear others at the table. But, on the other hand the restaurant was full, full. The food was tasty and the service excellent.

    It was our first time there and all we can say is WOW!! The food was beyond delicious! The steak was perfect soft and tender! Did not wait long for our food and the waiter was fantastic. We will definitely be back again!
