Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    The food and service was outstanding. I would recommend Turn and Tender Ruimsig for any occasion. In the 5+ years that we as family have been going there to celebrate birthdays, mothers and fathers day,we have always had an enjoyable experience.

    The only thing I could fault was the fact we ordered a bottle of red wine but wasn't told it was the last bottle so had to order a different bottle, knowing we were a table of 7 the waiter should have been aware that we would more than likely need a 2nd bottle.

    I attended a meal with two of our company vice presidents from switzerland and the taste and quality of your food and enagement of your staff definitely ensured that our South African flag was flying hight. Flawless execution. I’m sure it was a memorable for everyone else, as it was for me. It was the perfect end to a fantastic day with our international visitors.

    We celebrated our anniversary last night and had the best dinner our food and service were above expectations. Best steak I've had in ages, the manager, Onias was especially accommodating we could not fault TnT on anything. Ray our waiter was also very attentive but not intrusive. We highly recommend the share steak option.
