    We attended a wonderful wine tasting at Uva Mira, accompanied by a delicious cheese and charcuterie platter. Everything was superb — the wines, the food and the magnificent views. Uva Mira is the highest vineyard in the region and grows five different grape varieties, from which it produces its own distinctive wines. The wines are exceptional and truly stand in a class of their own.

    We had a wonderful experience at Uva Mra from the amazing cheese and charcuterie platter to the service and the ambience of a log fire and magnificent views of the mountains and sea. Willem Horn, our wine educator , was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable on the climatic and soil conditions of the area that influenced the grapes that in turn had an impact on the quality and flavour of the wines. He helped us to identify the different flavours we could taste and also how the shape of the glass can influence the taste buds. To end this fabulous experience we were served a delicious cup of coffee with an exquisite Belgium chocolate. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
