V Restaurant @ Val de Vine is nestled at the foothills of the Stellenbosch Mountain range on the R44. Our restaurant boasts explosive and exciting new gastro experiences, complemented by an infusion of nature and memories in the making. We welcome all who share a taste for adventure & a value for life.

You will be greeted by a relaxing beautiful setting where old & young come together. Share a laugh with our staff under the canopy of an old oak tree. Enjoy the mouth-watering scent of our wood-fired pizzas.

    Last night they had a pizza special where you buy two pizzas and the cheaper one is free. Three of us wanted pizza, so the other couple ordered a special, and I ordered a special for myself as well. Since I obviously can’t eat two pizzas, I asked them to put the second pizza in a takeaway box. When we left, the manager brought me my pizza in the box and firmly told me that this was unacceptable and that the special was intended to be eaten at the restaurant. I explained that I have done this before and that it has never been an issue, but I was again told that what I had done was wrong. After visiting Val de Vine 23 times in the past seven months alone and spending over R5,500 there, I really don’t appreciate being made to feel like I was trying to cheat the system or take advantage of a special. If there are rules around how the promotion may be used, they should be clearly communicated upfront rather than enforced at the end of the evening in a way that makes a regular customer feel like a criminal.

    A party of 16 of us had the most wonderful birthdays lunch.. 3 celebrations! The warm cosy dining room with a big fire going, excellent and attentive staff and delicious dishes from the calamari to a steak done to perfection and finished off with ice cream and chocolate sauce! We had a ball and were serenaded by a guitarist singing Happy Birthday... We will definitely be back to Val de Vine restaurant! Thank you for spoiling us all

    We had an 80th birthday party for 35 people. The staff was very accommodating and we could bring our own wine (at a corkage). The food was good and the options for the set menu had something for everyone. The lamb shank was a huge portion and really well prepared. It is a lovely, relaxed environment.

    We had such a wonderful evening at Val de Vine celebrating my daughter’s 22nd birthday. John was incredibly attentive to all their needs, friendly, and an absolutely fantastic waiter.
