    This restaurant should expect a five star rating, however, I can only give them a four star due to the meal. It has been taken over by Sabi Sabi and the chef is not quite reached the standard as it was under the prior ownership. The surroundings are beautiful and serene. It’s like an oasis in the middle of the Southern suburbs. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful, the music was very good and relaxing. I could only rate the food and beverages a 3 to 4 star. My mimosa had far too much orange juice with very little MCC. They serve sparkling water on tap which was amazing. My husband ordered a bunny chow starter, which was lovely. I ordered Kingklip which should usually be a light meal, but I found it to be fried in oil which was too much for the pallet. The texture of the fish was good but being fried in oil spoilt and I felt quite queasy hours afterwards, regretting my meal choice. The vegetables on which the fish was served were outstanding. My husband had the calamari and it looked just as fried as mine. The portion size was adequate for me as a small eater, so they are modest portions and not very big. I really hope the chef does amend her methods of cooking healthy meals, perhaps to poach the food instead. I do recommend this restaurant, but I suggest that you ask the Waiter or waitress about the cooking methods and if changes could be made.

    A fantastic experience from enquiry in April, till being walked to the parking after (we'd meandered somewhat on the way in). Beautifully warm and cosy on a rather wintery day, with equally warm and attentive service from Xolani. We opted for Linefish of the Day (Kingklip) and were still talking about it in the car on the way hope. Just perfect! This was really the perfect spot to spoil a good friend with lunch for her 50th

    Fantastic experience from the greeting at the entrance, ambiance, cocktails and superb meal. The waiter Wayne was topnotch. We definitely shall visit again.

    Everything was absolutely delightful on every level! Just one tiny disappointment. After our meal we requested the dessert menu at 20:57. We were told that the kitchen was closed. What a shame. But I’d definitely come back as we had a very nice evening!

    I had the fish , it was fresh & cooked to perfection.The steak was also absolutely great.
