    Can I give zero starts? I called and then booked. On our way I called 5 more times and no answer. We drove 35 min and got to the restaurant at 19:12 PM. Guess what? The restaurant was closed! So drove over an hour just to hear it is closed and this was for family that is visiting from gauteng. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!

    Jacque was great, and Unathi, our waitress friendly and attentive. Loooved that it is dog-friendly. Think when they are done with all the renovations and have their liquor license, Morgenhof Wine Estate is going to be a fave hangout over the weekend.

    The Veldt Platter is definitely the one to go for. You’re able to try a variety of smoked meats: tender and smokey chicken wings, the sausage was super tender with enough spiciness coming from the jalapeños, the steak used had areas of game-meat flavor but the charred pieces were definitely tasty, the rib was definitely the highlighted, well smoked. The most interesting was the brandy flat white- not a single drop of brandy alcohol in but it came with those caramel flavors. Definitely give it a try

    We enjoyed the unique Eggs Benedict and Flapjack courses. Once the building process is completed the ambience would be ideal and uniquely different. Your staff spoilt us as it was my wife's birthday as well. Henri.

    Super bad experience. Nothing is on par..not the food, not the staff not the ambience. Not at all what we've envisioned for a Sunday lunch. It's a construction site, limited menu, too loud music, bathrooms not clean!!!!
