    We had the absolute best Italian meal in Cape Town at Villa 47. Every dish tasted fresh, authentic, and beautifully balanced, from the pasta to the rich sauces that actually tasted like they came straight from Italy. The seafood pasta was bursting with flavour and was one of those dishes you actually remember days later. The atmosphere is warm and elegant without feeling stuffy, and the service was faultless — attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. The wine was delicious, and the whole evening just flowed perfectly.

    We were waiting more than 1.5 hour and got absolutely dried t-bone steak, oversalted risotto and octopus. Absolutely can't recommend to visit

    Hi there, We’re sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your experience, but we must clarify that your wait time was nowhere near 1.5 hours, your food was served well within standard service times. When your concerns were raised, the guest speaking to the manager was unfortunately quite dismissive, which made it difficult for us to assist further. Regarding the steak, it was ordered medium and prepared exactly to that requested temperature. When the risotto was brought to the manager’s attention, the same guest again stated that your party was leaving in 10 minutes, which unfortunately didn’t allow us the opportunity to rectify the issue. We take pride in the quality of our food and service, and while feedback is always welcome, it’s important that it reflects the full picture accurately.
