The first of our three floors to launch, Locanda on the Ground Floor is the epitome of the relaxed Italian bistro where guests can experience regional speciality dishes prepared by our Italian Chef, Vittorio Bianchi, under the leadership of head Chef, Clayton Bell. Locanda loosely translates to hotel or inn, and while accommodation is not on the menu, we invite our guests to enjoy and share in our passion for the finest quality Italian food.

    Hi, we ordered the seared tuna and replaced sweet potato with fries. I remember the sauce was supposed to be with coriander, lime and chili but the seared yellowfin tuna has been served with pepper sauce which we did not order and I also did not enjoy it. However, I was unable to complain as I have been invited and did not feel I could complain in front of the person who invited us. But I would like to let you know that I was disappointed and the pepper sauce destroyed the fine tuna, it was so sad because I was looking forward to have such fine and rare fish. Maybe the kitchen misplaced the pepper sauce because they thought it was a steak? However, serving a different sauce without consulting the guest was not right.
