Embark on a sensory journey of discovery when you take a seat for one of our wine tasting experiences whilst enjoying the panoramic views of the Simonsberg Paarl mountains.

Our professional and knowledgeable tasting ambassadors, better known as the Red Ladies, will guide you through our range of wines.

We are open on all public holidays except Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

    We enjoyed our lunch at Vrede en Lust but weren't as wowed by our surroundings as we were at the other wineries that we visited that day. We would happily go back but would probably prioritise other places over this one.

    We had a fabulous experience! The setting was beautiful, the explanations were interesting and informative, and both the wines and Lindt chocolates were fantastic. We especially loved the variety and how well everything was paired. The team were also incredibly flexible and provided excellent customer care throughout. Would definitely recommend!

    A wonderful cheese & wine pairing experience. The outside table on the deck allowed views of the beautiful scenery. We appreciated that both an indoor and outdoor table had been reserved for our booking, allowing us to make a choice. Our host talked us through the wines and the complimenting cheeses, which increased our knowledge and enjoyment of the experience.

    Excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I sadly can't remember our consultant's name, she really was outstanding, knowledgeable and friendly.

    We loved the setting for our tasting- on the deck overlooking the vineyard. We tasted our first Riesling in the area and loved Early Mist. We also really enjoyed the Kogelberg Chenin Blanc. The cheese tasting with the wines was perfect, especially since this was our 5th tasting of the day! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bree en Lust!

    We did the Easter Wine paring (so i cannot really review the 'food'). The wine was magnificent, the tasting was something we had never done before - mochi tasting, and abosultely loved it. The service was wonderful. Perfection
