About: At Warwick we celebrate summer to the fullest! With our summer picnic boxes filled to the brim you can look forward to a selection of delicacies curated by Executive Chef Nick van Wyk. Book a spot on our famous picnic lawn, on our picnic benches or in one of our private picnic pods. Bring along the little ones to have fun on our jungle gyms, splash around in our ‘Fountain of Youth’ and enjoy a delicious kiddie’s picnic.

    We had the Gourmet picnic at one of the lawn spots. Food was delicious with generous portion sizes. It would have been nice to have the option of just breads & spreads together with cheese & charcuterie. With the foam cushions under the picnic blanket you hardly realise that you are sitting on the ground. Together with the beanbags, umbrellas providing shade, and beautiful relaxed environment, it was the perfect picnic set-up!

    The experience was so wonderful. This was the first time that I did the picnic it was something I saved up for.. when we went to pay I only had an extra R10 .. I gave that as tip. The waiter said with an attitude ‘a ten rand’ .. I said that was all I have. But overall it was nice

Regarding the moment at payment, we’d like to clarify that our team is trained to communicate clearly around gratuities, as they do not want to make a mistake when service charge is added to bills. The waitress who assisted you is known for her professionalism and warmth, and it’s very likely that her comment was intended simply to confirm, rather than to come across with any negative tone. That said, we do appreciate you highlighting it, as guest perception always matters.

    The overall experience was lovely . Great introduction, attentive service, beautiful setting and really generous.and tasty selection of food in the picnic basket . Definitely a win !! Thats even before you sample the very good wine selection. This is not a pretentious place ; just genuine home grown hospitality and offerings
