About: At Warwick we celebrate summer to the fullest! With our summer picnic boxes filled to the brim you can look forward to a selection of delicacies curated by Executive Chef Nick van Wyk. Book a spot on our famous picnic lawn, on our picnic benches or in one of our private picnic pods. Bring along the little ones to have fun on our jungle gyms, splash around in our ‘Fountain of Youth’ and enjoy a delicious kiddie’s picnic.

    I liked that we got to taste a selection of wines prior to choosing what we wanted with the picnic. The food was exceptionally good, but far too much. Snoek pate and biltong cream cheese are world class! The staff helpfully agreed to move our chosen pod to another sunnier one.

    We found the wine server was knowledgeable but ran through the wines very quickly and then left us. It’s always best to savor one wine at a time. Also in this way the wines don’t end up getting warm before you get to drink then thereby spoiling the flavour. The cheese platter was ok. Not the quality Eve had elsewhere. The farm overall quaint and ambience great

    Loved everything about the picnic, Veliswa our waiter paid extra attention to us, his service was very excellent, however we would like to have more variety in the baskets as there were less fruit and options in the baskets and please do away with the carrot and chickpea salad! Otherwise overall experience was great, great staff and scenery was top notch!

    Maryke and Rowan were very polite, professional and very attentive in their service. The picnic basket was a real treat, thoroughly enjoyed. We shall visit again, as Warwick is our favourite Estate.

    Some absolutely top class salads and charcuterie, just let down a bit by the soggy carrot salad. Would have been nice to have a small dessert in the selection, missed finishing off with a bit of sweet. We booked a pod, and loved the quieter ambiance, coolth, and view of the lake.
