    Received lovely and personal service by Jardine. The new layout is stunning and waitress was very attentive. Food presentation was amazing and cocktails were delicious.

    For each of our group of 4, it was our first visit to Wilde Vy. We enjoyed the adventure of finding it, far off the beaten track, driving through all the vineyards of the Durbanville valley. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting of established lush planting with lovely views. As foodies, with two vegetarians, we all just LOVED the food. Every last morsel was sublime - finger-licking, nice sized portions. So many choices, resulting in a very complicated (small print) menu, so we all agreed that we were glad some of us had perused the menu online prior. Compliments to all the Chefs. Each dish was prepared with care and attention & presented beautifully. The high-end food delivered as promised, from perfectly cooked fish, to unusual sauces, to exciting desserts. Like the perfect chocolate lava dessert that oozed decadent warm sauce when opened ; and perfect pastries . Our Waitress, Sarah was well informed about the ingredients of the complex dishes, and the wine list. Friendly and attentive as required, she had impeccable timing, and contributed as much to the overall good experience as the chefs did. Best Waitron ever. It is expensive, and was a big treat for us, for a special gathering of friends. Be aware of the automatic, high, built-in service charge. There is a daunting amount of very steep steps from the parking lot up to the restaurant, albeit with sturdy handrails. This is definitely not your place if you are mobility challenged.....our bad, we should have picked that up from the pictures. Lovely ambience, a choice of seating options, it was warm and inviting on a cool, grey day. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
