    What a WOW! I was expecting a Bistro in the Winelands and what an absolute gem! The food was amazing, the steaks will be forever in my thoughts. The wine is amazingly priced. The service was absolutely perfect. Sarah was an absolute RockStar! And the jazz evening just tipped it all off to make it amazing evening.

    My wife and I had lunch on 17 January 2026. The Aubergine we shared for an entre. Tge best we have ever had. Presentation exquisite. The linefish had a delicate taste to die for. The prawns and calamari aksk tasted fantastic. We had kalua Don Pedro and kalua ciffe as desert. Good friendly reception and Service and enjoyed the view of Durbanville farms from beneath the shade of the Wild Fig tree.

    This restaurant exceeded all our expectations! We were a group of 40 people and the service was exceptional—prompt, friendly, and genuinely attentive throughout our visit. The food was simply delectable, with rich flavors and stunning presentation that made every dish a pleasure to enjoy. A perfect spot for anyone looking for great food and outstanding service. We cannot wait to return for our next culinary adventure at Wilde Vy Bistro!

    We were four diners and had a most enjoyable evening at Wilde Vy Bistro. The venue is beautiful and the live Jazz band was an added bonus. Whilst the food was tasty and well presented we felt that it lacked a "wow" factor that would encourage us to return. The vegetables in our opinion were a little too under done. Our waitress was lovely, very chatty and friendly, however our starters which were all delicious and the highlight of the food, were not all delivered at the same time with one dinner only receiving their food after a reminder and other diners had already finished eating. The same occurred with the main meal and the desert so all round the timing was not good. Whilst the venue and ambience are great the food did not live up to the higher than usual price tag. As an added suggestion - the stairs leading back to the car park definitely require lighting for dinners leaving in the evenings
