Initially we were very disappointed as we had booked online quite a long time before the date and asked for outside . On arrival we were given a table right at the back of the terrace and had no views . We had first time visitors with us so we felt very let down . We asked to be moved but we were told it wasn’t possible as they were full but if anything came available they would move us , which they did nearer to the front . I don’t really see why they ask you on booking where you want to sit then just ignore it .

The farm has become over commercialised and lost charm due to tatty extensions and mediocre service.

Im very dissatisfied with my experience. I emailed with one of the staff when I made my booking. I requested a table that was a little bit secluded from the rest of the guests as we were celebrating my sisters 21st and we were a group of 10. When I arrived we got put at a table in the middle. The person who seated us had no idea about what I specified in my email communication. The chicken was raw and when we returned it it was given back to us exactly the same way we gave it to the kitchen. We received a very little wine from the tasting I’ve been to places who give a little bit more wine. It seemed like it was understaffed as well as we waited a very long time in between tastings and my guests were getting bored. One of the waiters also threw one of my guests cards back at him because a R50 was not good enough of a tip for him. We each paid separately and tipped on our own. When I tried to get the hosts attention when we just arrived a foreigner barged in front of me and the host helped him first and did not apologise to me for letting me wait. Very disappointing experience. The views are immaculate hence why we chose this wine farm but other than that it was not great and I feel like my sisters 21st could have been made more special especially since I mentioned in my mails. We had fun regardless but your staff need training coming from someone who worked in the service industry for years.
