    We visited this past weekend, and unfortunately, the new setup was quite disappointing. We've been regular visitors for a long time and have always enjoyed the experience, but the recent changes have taken away what made this wine farm so special. The tasting area is now completely separate from the restaurant, which means you can't order a bottle of the wine you've just tasted and enjoy it where you're seated. Instead, you're expected to move to the restaurant area literally just a few steps away to have a bottle of wine. The problem is that the restaurant is often fully booked, so unless you've made two separate bookings in advance, you can't enjoy a wine tasting, a bottle of wine, and a meal as part of one visit. It feels very unusual for a wine farm that you can't taste wine where you're eating, or enjoy a bottle of wine where you're tasting. It makes the whole experience feel unnecessarily complicated. We were three couples, all regular visitors, and we all agreed that the previous setup worked much better. We sincerely hope management will reconsider this change, as it has taken away the relaxed, enjoyable experience that kept us coming back.Not sure of we will revisit with a setup like that.

We understand your frustration around the separation between the tasting area and the restaurant. We are always reviewing the best way to ensure our guests have a memorable experience, and we are working on ways to improve the experience for all our guests. Soon we will have Tree Bar, The Shed and Scape all fully operational and this will also offer more variety, all while ensuring the Wine Tasting area is purely for guests wanting to taste our amazing Vondeling wines. This is something we have also had consistent feedback about from a majority of guests. Tree Bar, The Shed and Scape will all have unique food offerings, so this will offer you even more to choose from. Your feedback is important to us, and we will consider it carefully. We would love the chance to welcome you back and restore your faith in the experience you have come to expect from our beautiful farm.     I can only give them the lowest scores. I booked online, was asked to confirm my booking , which I did and arrived to find they were on holiday. No problem with that - just don’t take my booking and then confirm.

    We really had a great time it was my daughter 5th visit; my second visit and my friend her 1st and we all agree it great we enjoyed and view is so beautiful

    It was never disclosed to us that there were no indoor facilities, for either the wine tasting or the Pizza Shed. This was a great disappointment and we were left no choice but to eat at Scape restaurant, which was not what we had anticipated or planned for, given the weather prediction was heavy rain, which did ensue. The venue is beautiful, however indoor seating for wine tasting and the Pizza Shed is a must.

    Not appreciative that service fees are added to the bill and are mandatory. The food, though delicious, are not value for money. Service from Mercia was excellent.
