    Nellie is an absolute gem!!! Her knowledge is impeccable…. Not to mention that she deals with clients in a very friendly and easy manner! We so enjoyed her. The views are amazing… my only critique is Paarl can get very hot and I don’t think the wine tasting centre has enough umbrellas.

    The ambiance is amazing, the kiddies play ground is fantastic. Parents can relax while the kids play. The only issue is that on the deck "tasting bar", its not the normal protocol to order normal drinks and cocktails or food. Its only for wine tasting. The management kindly did arrange for a waiter from the restaurant to service us cocktails and beers, however it did take 45minutes to succeed at this. The waiter was helpful once assigned to us. I found it rather impractical to have the amazing kids playground (supporting families) but then not have a full menu for family needs. Besides that challenge its a beautiful place to go..

    Siya, our Wine Tasting Guide was exceptional. The manner and phase in which he conducted the tasting really is world class and made the experience memorable. Our waiter at The Shed, Bongi, was also great, including the management. The overall relaxed atmosphere created a tranquil and intimate experience. Smoking areas requires some shade though, overall I give Vrymansfontein 100/10
