In late 2023, The Winshaw Wine Tasting and Eatery debuted on our family farm with a vision to share our rich family history and offer a haven for our Winshaw wines and Usana grass-fed/finished meat & pasture raised eggs.

Our concise menu highlights our Grass-fed beef as the star, complemented by a seasonal vegetarian alternative. Experience a leisurely lunch on our lush lawn, or cozy up in our inviting indoor space if the weather turns chilly. Come savor the essence of our farm with us.

    This is the second time we visit during our stay in Capetown. Quality of the meat is excellent. Waiters are very nice. Like the fact that the owners always check the tables and have a nice talk with you. If you want to enjoy a good meal in a quiet surrounding, this is the place to be.

    Genuine, expertly cooked wholesome grass fed steaks, double fried chips and rich homemade ice cream The wine, both chenin and cab [the fox] were real class Stellenbosch offerings. We will definitely be back for another memorable Sunday lunch. The service was exemplary with the owners themselves checking every table and helping out the waitresses which is quite unique and ensuring service is a critical success factor.

    We had absolute great food. With my wifes words: „the best Burger I ever had“ ! My fillet, the chips and the salad were deviine. Familiar athmosphere in the garden rounded up a superb late lunch. Oh, almost forgot the wine: splendid.
