    Utterly beautiful setting with most disappointing service and food. We were 8 people and all four steak orders did not match what was ordered. The dining room in which we were seated was used as a store room with Takealot boxes, Checkers delivery bags, other boxes and a screen cluttering which could have been a cosy, intimate space. Upon arrival we were all discussing the desserts we were planning on ordering, but in the end we didn’t order any, not even more wine to fill the mismatched glasses. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

    5 star experience all round. The food is sublime every single time, Compliments to the chef! The pasta was heavenly. The service is excellent - round of applause to the service team, you ladies are wonderful from the time we set foot into the restaurant. Let me not even start on the wine. Stunning dinner date night with my bffs

    I was very confused because initially when I booked they said it would be in the restaurant . They didn’t say it would be on the lawn. Seating was not very comfortable. I expected at least some sort of starter as per the original picnic braai. Other than that the food was good for a braai day.

    I had Shakshuka which was not a Shakshuka. The egg was not cooked in the sauce. There was too much sauce, and the peppers and tomatoes were very unevenly diced and not cooked enough. There were no fresh herbs added to the dish. All and all the dish did not meet my expectation.
