The menu, prepared by Head Chef Jacqueline Neethling, is simple and unpretentious, yet sophisticated, and offers both lunch and dinner. Chef Jacqueline’s passion for culinary arts started with her stay-at-home mom who’d come up with the most mouthwatering flavors and aromas, making every meal unique. Helping out in her mom’s veg and herb garden made her fall in love with the process of harvesting and cooking with the freshest ingredients. She firmly believes that a wise choice of spices and herbs are critical complimentary accessories to any winning dish. Jacqueline’s career in culinary arts followed a journey among wine estates in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek before she joined Mariella’s as Head Chef in July 2024.
