The Grillhouse Sandton, 11 Alice Lane

Hi Please note that I ordered a rib eye steak and I wanted it meduim rare, I ate only a small piece of the edge which was cooked the rest was completely raw and the meat smelt off, apart from it not being cooked properly the meat was sour and had a terrible off sort of dead animal smell. This is pathetic for the price paid for the meal. I am not certain if anyone else had issues but I will consult my team and advise. I took a doggy bag and once I got home I saw the meat was raw and smelt off. At the resturant I did smell my plate as something smelt funny to me, but I thought it might have been the sauce, I did not have appetite to eat the meat as it did not taste nice to me so I ate the veg sides. Unfotunately because it was work event I did not think to question or ask the waitor if this is how it supposed to smell I just though maybe it was me! the service was great and drinks were great and overall setting was perfect. Very terrible for food for the price paid, Please can we discuss how this can be compensated as that was a pricy meal for one individual and exteremely unacceptable to feed someone something like that and think its ok, the chef should of picked up the smell of the meat by the time I went home I opened the brown papaer bag and it was stinking terribly
