We strive to showcase Ethiopia’s rich history and traditions and have gone to great lengths to ensure your dining experience is as authentically Ethiopian as possible.

From the traditional furnishings and the classic Ethiopian coffee ceremony to the serving of food itself, we offer an exotic alternative to anything you may be used to.     The main vegetarian course was well made and tasty. But very small portion for 3 adults and they charged over R70 for a few extra pieces of injera. Ridiculously expensive meal and not worth the money. in the evening, if you want the vegetarian platter option, you have to choose the 3-course meal which includes a starter and dessert, which we didn't want. The starter was a few pieces of crisp injera with two mediocre dips. The dessert was inedible ice cream, sorbet and cake. I may consider Addis for lunch but don't go for dinner as it is poor value for money. Much better and more affordable Ethiopian food in Cape Town. I think Addis in a tourist trap.

Our evening menu is intentionally curated as a set experience, while allowing our team to maintain consistency and quality during dinner service. Portions are planned accordingly, and additional injera is offered at an extra cost as described on our menu. We understand that set menus and pricing may not suit everyone, and we appreciate your honesty in highlighting that our lunch service may be a better fit for your preferences. While many of our guests value the dinner experience as a complete journey, we respect that others may seek something different.     Delicious food - a bit on the pricey side compared to many Ethiopian places we've visited, but certainly very authentic and excellent vegan options!

    The flavours of the dishes we selected were outstanding, and the presentation wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, have never dined in this way before: low chairs at low tables and no cutlery. I would like to eat there again.
