Aegir Project Taproom is a family-friendly restaurant in Noordhoek, Cape Town, with a brewery at its heart.

Since opening our doors in 2015 as a small, passion-fuelled brewery obsessed with pushing the boundaries on flavour, we’re proud to have grown into the kind of welcoming home-away-from-home where locals and visitors alike can sit down and have a laugh over great food and superb beer.

Whether you’re taking in the view of Noordhoek Beach from the sundowner deck with an icy pint in hand, tucking into one of our hand-stretched, Neapolitan-style sourdough pizzas, or sampling our killer coffee while the kids tear through the playground, our aim is to make you feel like family.

    Thank you! We always have a great time at Aegir. The waiters are great and Bryce was so accommodating in keeping my husband's birthday cake in the fridge whilst we were eating our food. We will definitely be back.

    What an amazing afternoon, food was fantastic, beer equally so but the cherry on top was our waitress, Hannah! What an absolute little treasure she was!

    We've finally found pizza we can eat! Being gluten intolerant usually poses quite a challenge when it comes to pizza but, thankfully, the sourdough base didn't affect us at all and it was delicious! It's the best we've eaten outside Italy! Friends had the spicy 'KFC' burgers, which they also really enjoyed. The Aegir Project is very busy at weekends and quite noisy but that adds to the vibe. Staff are polite and friendly and the service is good. We would definitely recommend the Aegir Project and will be regulars from now on!
