Featuring over 60 meticulously selected loose-leaf teas from around the world, a unique coffee experience, and an exquisite selection of sweet and savoury treats, "tea at the Nellie" has become a cherished tradition in Cape Town.

    Such a fabulous treat. Our waitress Zodwa was so knowledgeable and her recommendations were first class. We were a party of four and each of us loved our afternoon tea in such a magnificent setting.

    A beautiful and elegant Afternoon Tea experience at Mount Nelson. The setting is exceptional, the tea selection is extensive, and the service — especially from Andiswa — was warm and attentive. A lovely way to spend an afternoon, with just a bit of room for improvement on the food offering.

    We celebrated my daughter’s 13th birthday and it was truly exceptional. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making us feel welcomed, special, and genuinely cared for. The service was warm and attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and the piano in the background added a beautiful, elegant touch to the atmosphere. The food was, of course, excellent. An overall experience I would highly recommend.
