Featuring over 60 meticulously selected loose-leaf teas from around the world, a unique coffee experience, and an exquisite selection of sweet and savoury treats, "tea at the Nellie" has become a cherished tradition in Cape Town.

Classic Afternoon Tea: R650 per person, includes a glass of sommelier’s choice iced tea or L’Ormarins Cap Classique.
Vegan Afternoon Tea: R650 per person, includes a glass of sommelier’s choice iced tea or L’Ormarins Cap Classique.
Gluten-Free Afternoon Tea: R650 per person, includes a glass of sommelier’s choice iced tea or L’Ormarins Cap Classique.

    This was out first time at Mount Nelson. We fell in love with the Hotel and Gardens. It was such a relaxing time. The staff were all so friendly and willing to help. The Afternoon Tea was a wonderful experience. We will definitely visit again.

    A lovely afternoon in a beautiful setting. The staff are fantastic and very welcoming. Food and wine are delicious. Would highly recommend and will most definitely return.

    Most memorable day spend with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. Excellent service, delicious food and a lovely atmosphere with perfect background sound of the piano. Will definitely be back!

    The service was hit or miss. No one came to my table for 15 minutes yet I was immediately reminded I had to give up my table two hours from the reservation time. The tea was lovely and the bites were good as expected.
