    Bad service, Waiter left with another waiter to GOAT and left us there waiting for 30 minutes. Will not return to this restaurant. I cannot rate the food as I did not have an opportunity to order any since the waiters did not really serve me. Not a good first impression. Train your team properly.

What you described is completely unacceptable and certainly not the standard of hospitality or service we strive to deliver. Waiting 30 minutes without being attended to, especially on a first visit, is incredibly disappointing, and I fully understand your frustration. There is no excuse for guests feeling neglected while team members are away from their stations, and I can assure you that this matter is being addressed internally with the staff involved as well as with management. We take service very seriously, and your feedback regarding training and attentiveness has been noted and will be used constructively to improve our team and systems moving forward. I also truly regret that you never even had the opportunity to experience the food, as that means we failed you before your evening even had the chance to begin properly. If you would be willing to give us another opportunity, I would personally love to welcome you back and offer you and your guest two meals on the house as a gesture of goodwill and an opportunity for us to restore your faith in the BAH experience.     The music was way too loud for an early dinner reservation. It is very unpleasant celebrating someone’s birthday and not being able to hold a conversation. Please also invest in proper glassware for wine. It is not acceptable to pay over R300 a bottle and everyone gets a different type of glass (some not even appropriate for the type of wine).

We understand that an early dinner reservation should allow for comfortable conversation and connection, and we are truly sorry that the atmosphere detracted from that experience. Your comments regarding our wine glassware are also completely valid and appreciated. Consistency and suitability of glassware are an important part of the overall wine experience, particularly when guests are investing in premium bottles, and we acknowledge that we fell short on this occasion. We have addressed both matters internally with our management and service teams: • Our music levels during earlier dinner service periods will be monitored more carefully to ensure a more balanced dining atmosphere. • We are currently reviewing and improving our wine glassware standards to ensure a more refined and consistent experience for our guests moving forward. If you would not mind, could you perhaps let us know whether the music concern related to our overhead/background music or the live music performance on the evening?
