Offering a variety of seating arrangements, vibrant décor colours and modern fireplaces, Balata Restaurant is famous for its outstanding buffets. Light business lunches are equally popular, but Balata is certainally known for its exquisite fine dining under the leadership of our Executive Chef D'Arcy Els. Using the freshest produce available, all meals are served with great care and attention to detail.

The Roundabout Bar has cascading views over the golf course and is popular with the golfing fraternity who need to recuperate after a strenuous round of golf, or that drink on the way back home after a long day at the office.

Bar Verve with its trendy ambience is perfect for a first date, a quick get together or just for unwinding after work. A secluded wine cellar hides behind Bar Verve and provides a sophisticated private venue amongst many bottles of hand-picked South African wines.

From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with warmth, efficiency, and a genuine commitment to hospitality. The staff consistently go above and beyond, ensuring every detail is taken care of and that guests feel truly valued. The facilities are immaculate, the atmosphere is calm and elegant, and the service across the board is outstanding. Whether it’s for business, events, or leisure, the Fairway never disappoints. It remains one of my top choices—reliable, professional, and always a pleasure to return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an all-round excellent stay.

    The staff are the biggest asset to this restaurant. The menu is a little limited for healthier options and if you are staying longer than a week it is very monotonous. There are five a la carte options for dessert and they are not good. We tried them all and felt that none were worth recommending. The steaks are well cooked. And the chicken was good. We stayed here two weeks and desperately missed any healthy choices or lighter options. Overall if your stay is short then i would recommend but anything longer than three nights i would not.

    Great variety, excellent presentation, delicious and tasty. I personally love the salmon starter and the Oxtail with vegetables for mains. The freshly made waffles is a winner at the dessert table
