Offering a variety of seating arrangements, vibrant décor colours and modern fireplaces, Balata Restaurant is famous for its outstanding buffets. Light business lunches are equally popular, but Balata is certainally known for its exquisite fine dining under the leadership of our Executive Chef D'Arcy Els. Using the freshest produce available, all meals are served with great care and attention to detail.

The Roundabout Bar has cascading views over the golf course and is popular with the golfing fraternity who need to recuperate after a strenuous round of golf, or that drink on the way back home after a long day at the office.

Bar Verve with its trendy ambience is perfect for a first date, a quick get together or just for unwinding after work. A secluded wine cellar hides behind Bar Verve and provides a sophisticated private venue amongst many bottles of hand-picked South African wines.

    From the beginning I had a problem get something to drink. I had to go to the entrance and ask if I had to go and buy my drinks at the bar myself. During the lunch the problem still continued. They were quick to remove your plate even I you were still busy eating. The pork were dry with no apple sauce and the patotos got old very quickly

    Everything was really good except for the service. We waited quite a while for our drinks, and it felt like certain guests were being prioritised over others. Even getting the bill required me to approach the waitress and ask, after which I was left waiting and eventually another lady brought it. It’s disappointing because good customer service should be consistent for everyone. The food and overall experience were lovely, but the service left a bit of a sour note from this particular lady who was assisting us.
