We are, a Korean Restaurant located in Parkmore, Sandton (2km away from Sandton City). As a family owned and operated eatery, we serve authentic Korean cuisine and delicacies with a hand of mom's cooking. Kimchi, tofu and majority of sauces and marinades are made in-house with pride. In addition, we have indoor grills equipped on each table to enhance the flavour of Bulgogi, Samgeopsal and Galbi for a perfect Korean BBQ night out!

    I would not ever go back here! Found a ladybug insect in my food. Shame we had the sweetest waiter Lisa! She was amazing and friendly. But the food and ambience was the biggest disappointment. Also the owners were there but did not even come and apologise for an insect being in our food. At some point when we just got there, we had to wait for a while whilst 3 people were serving the table next to us! Tik tok has over hyped up this place. It is a complete let down

    First time earing at a Korean restaurant, and this experience has definitely set the bar high. The food was amazing. The best fried chicken I've ever eaten, and am likely to eat, the chef knows his/her stuff as it was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and perfectly seasoned. The beef dumplings were tasty. The fried ramyeon noodles were absolute perfection. The atmosphere pretty relaxed. Lovely people. So friendly. Definitely will go again, even though it is a distance from home. Try and make a reservation, as even on a Monday night it was quite busy.

    I was really disappointed with our experience at Banchan. The service was very slow and we constantly had to call staff just to get basic attention. It was my brother’s birthday, and although we appreciated the complimentary cake, it was unfortunately spoiled, which was quite upsetting on a special occasion. Overall, we did not feel we received good value for money, especially when compared to our experiences at Surasang. Sadly, this visit did not meet our expectations.

    My favourite restaurant, and with my first time at new venue, I was not left disappointed. Feng Shui of seating offered privacy. Did not wait long for food. 10/10 experience
