We are, a Korean Restaurant located in Parkmore, Sandton (2km away from Sandton City). As a family owned and operated eatery, we serve authentic Korean cuisine and delicacies with a hand of mom's cooking. Kimchi, tofu and majority of sauces and marinades are made in-house with pride. In addition, we have indoor grills equipped on each table to enhance the flavour of Bulgogi, Samgeopsal and Galbi for a perfect Korean BBQ night out!

    Food was great, liked the new venue but it was very noisy, the issue might be that there is nothing to absorb the noise from the patrons. The 3 stars for service was more around the disjointed way the food arrived, we were a family of 3 but our food arrived between 5 and 10 minutes apart. Same with the starters 1st option arrived within 5 minutes of ordering and the next 10 minutes later. Food is on the expensive side, so definitely not a weekly/monthly outing, more like a special occasion.

    A table of 10 celebrating my birthday and we are told to be quiet. Rude staff, dry food and unfriendly ambience. I won't be back. Also expensive!!

    It was our 11th anniversary and we dont regret choosing Banchan for our anniversary dinner. The food was amazing, service outstanding and we even got a complimentary delicious dessert on the house! Will definitely be returning to Banchan. Beautiful restaurant, smiling people all round, great dining experience!
