We are, a Korean Restaurant located in Parkmore, Sandton (2km away from Sandton City). As a family owned and operated eatery, we serve authentic Korean cuisine and delicacies with a hand of mom's cooking. Kimchi, tofu and majority of sauces and marinades are made in-house with pride. In addition, we have indoor grills equipped on each table to enhance the flavour of Bulgogi, Samgeopsal and Galbi for a perfect Korean BBQ night out!

    Wow this was an amazing experience. Great ambiance, vibe and modern well architected building, beautifully done. We loved the Korean BBQ (Pork Samgyeopsal) and Fried Chicken pieces to die for coated in a delicious garlic soya sauce!!! 😋😋 The staff and daughter of the owner/chef were very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable All in all a really great and value for money experience (not cheap but also really reasonable) and a touch of class.

    I absolutely love going to banchan, I just miss how the Korean fried chicken used to be when they first started up. At the moment the chicken is very dry with not enough sauce, sometimes overcooked. I find that the service is sometimes slow as well and the waiters don't always pay attention to what you say and often get things wrong or forget things.

    The food was great, crispiest fried chicken and the most amazing side dishes. I tried the Haemul Pajeon + Soju and it didn't disappoint My love for exploring Korean cuisine has grown. The aesthetic of the premises is stunning and really friendly staff. The Karaoke was a bonus and so fun.

    My family and I had a wonderful time at Banchan. We celebrated my daughters 15th birthday at Banchan, we booked the Karaoke room also and we had such a great time. The kids could not stop talking about what a fun time they had. I will definitely go back. We chose a variety of meals, all were good. Our favorite was the Korean Fried Chicken, something spicy and the chicken was boneless which my husband and son really loved.

    Great, authentic tasting Korean food and experience. We also tried the karaoke room upstairs, my kids had a blast!! Soo much fun with music, disco lights ambience and props available to use!!

    Food was disappointing and the service haphazard. Ambience was clamourous due to clientele trying to talk above unnecessarily loud music. Used to be a really special dining experience but is now worse than average.
