Chef-Owner Louise Castle believes in using the finest and freshest seasonal produce. Classically trained in Italy you can expect her to wow you with the likes of seafood risotto, zucchini fritters and the best soufflé in the business. The specials board at Bellagio is one its highlights and keeps the food fresh and exciting.

The shady terrace is ideal for long lazy summer lunches and the stylish interior transports you to a trattoria overlooking Lake Como. That paired with the smells of basil and tomato wafting from the kitchen you will want to turn your lunch or dinner into a very leisurely one.

From freshly baked bread to a towering mille-feuille with berries and pistachios the menu has something for everyone and is utterly delicious.

    Wonderful experience, except for a very noisy table nearby. Otherwise, the food was magnificent - hot, tasty, beautifully presented and really a great menu covering everything. Youngest member of our group had a wonderful pizza, the rest of us had a variety of fish dishes, calamari and steak. Delicious, perfect side dishes. Our waiter, Godfrey, was patient and really lovely. We will definitely be back to experience the rest of the menu.

    We really enjoyed everything about our experience at Bellagio, so much so we went two nights on the trot. The food was very good, cheeses soufflé definitely worth the thirty minute wait. Our only complaint was the portions were just too big. You were offered the chance to take leftovers away but as a hotel guest it’s not something that is always possible.Personally we would have preferred smaller portions hence the four stars instead of five for food.

    We have visited Bellagio 4 times in the past 6 months and the food has been very good. Sadly, our experience last night was not only bad, it was unacceptable. The guest who had the calamari starter sent it back, as it did not taste fresh. The prawns in the linguini were overcooked and so was the line fish, a small piece of kob. It was sent back and replaced with an improved piece. My rump steak requested medium rare was delivered rare. It went back to the kitchen and was cooked better, but it parts of it were sinewy and it was not a piece of meat that I enjoyed at all! (Note that I had eaten a perfect rib eye steak at Bellagio a few months ago. It seemed as if there was a new chef in the kitchen who was struggling!
