The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the setting is stunning and the food was really beautifully presented, 10/10 for all of these. I only give "Value" a 3 star because of the small helpings, the quality of the food is tops. I am very irritated by the woke "Savoury Plate" helpings, the portions are too small. My sirloin (all by it's lonely self was 100gram) on the plate. I had to order a salad with my tiny sirloin to make the meal substantial. I think it is very disrespectful to only put a piece of meat on a plate. No sign of a vegetable or salad or even the lowly chip. When I asked for a Greek Side Salad they had to check if they had feta and olives (in a 5 star restaurant!!!). The salad eventually arrived, was beautiful and thank heavens, they located an olive and piece of feta. The additional cost for the salad was R95. Come on Moody Lagoon!! I will go back there but I hope they drop the silliness of the "Nibbles" and the "Savoury Plates". South Africans don't even use those words, we use Starter, Mains and Dessert/Sweets. The average patron there was middle aged to senior. Other than these gripes the place is truly spectaculer and worth the visit. We took the sea route via Rooi Els, Betty's Bay etc.

Really wonderful experience, great afternoon tea and good portions, very tasty. The only thing I would say was that the scones were a bit floury and heavy, but I still enjoyed them. Great experience all round.
